Why We Built This
Every pay revision, every DA hike, every promotion — lakhs of central government employees manually try to calculate their revised pay. Most get it wrong, or pay someone to do it. We built paybandcalc.com/ to change that.
paybandcalc.com/ was created by a team that experienced first-hand how confusing 7th Pay Commission pay structures are. Pay Matrix levels, fitment factors, MACP increments, DA calculation with AICPIN index, HRA city classifications, NPS Tier 1 vs Tier 2, pension commutation tables — the rules are complex and spread across dozens of government circulars.
We set out to build one platform where any central government employee — from a Group C clerk to a Grade A officer, from a Railway employee to a Defence civilian — could instantly calculate their correct pay, allowances, and retirement benefits without confusion.
